Working in-house at Pottermore I helped realise ongoing business objectives as part of the two person UI/UX team. We interrogated the taxonomy of the site, created personas, plotted user journeys, pulled together value proposition canvasses for various features, created rapid prototypes, undertook usability tests and worked within a truly agile environment.

I was also tasked with ensuring we had a solid MVP (with success criteria) for each iterative release of the product whilst also understanding (and assigning value) to all possible user journeys, this involved migrating users, identifying pain points and ensuring that cross-platform experiences via social media were excellent.

I also designed UI and other collateral during my time at Pottermore, including the ‘My Pottermore’ hub (an ongoing personalised area where users can build their Pottermore identity and access additional bespoke features) and the re-designed Pottermore Shop (eCommerce work).
